About the brand

Weiss is a French manufacturer of fine chocolate and pralinés started by Eugene Weiss in 1882. He was the son of a winemaker, but moved into the delicate art of blending cocoa beans, selecting those with the most promising aromatic profiles. The company succeeded to stay on top of innovation ever since. In 1912, Weiss offered mail-order catalog and horse deliveries. In 1995, the company created Acarigua, the first chocolate bar with a crunch of roasted nibs. In 2014, Weiss launched the praliné powder.
